Career
Anthony Schmode joined the Huskers in 1994 as a walk-on offensive guard. He redshirted his first year in Lincoln and appeared in two games his redshirt-freshman season. Following 1995, Schmode decided to pursue other interests. He left Nebraska as a member of its back-to-back national championship team.
Battle Creek High School
Schmode came to NU after playing previously at Battle Creek High in Battle Creek, Nebraska.
