2021
Kelen Meyer played in two games as a true freshman in 2021. He made his Nebraska debut by recording four touchbacks on four kickoffs against Fordham. He attempted the first kick of his career with a PAT at No. 3 Oklahoma.

Before Nebraska (Ord HS)
Meyer was a standout kicker for Ord High School, helping the Chanticleers to the Nebraska Class C2 state title as a senior. According to MaxPreps, Meyer made 110 of his 116 career extra points (95 percent) and connected on 16-of-25 field goals. He showed off a strong leg with a 58-yard field goal as a senior that tied for the second-longest field goal in state history. Meyer also tied a Class C-2 record with three field goals against Central City. Meyer made 8-of-14 field goals as a senior and 7-of-10 attempts as a junior. Meyer also averaged more than 58 yards on 92 kickoffs as a senior. As a punter, Meyer averaged 39.4 yards per punt in his career, including 40.2 yards as a senior. In addition to handling Ord's kicking duties, Meyer also started at wide receiver and defensive back. Meyer was a consensus first-team all-state pick as a senior. He was also an Omaha World-Herald all-state selection as a sophomore and an honorable-mention pick as a junior. Meyer also wrestled for Ord and was a four-time state qualifier and the state runner-up at 182 pounds as a senior. As a junior, Meyer finished fourth in the 170-pound weight class to help the Chanticleers to a runner-up team finish. Meyer was also a three-time state qualifier in golf. Following his prep career, Meyer was selected to play in the 2021 Nebraska Shrine Bowl. He chose to walk on at Nebraska over a scholarship over from Doane.
