Kaine Williams played in four games in 2023, appearing against Northern Illinois, Illinois, Northwestern and Purdue.

2022 (Redshirt Freshman)
Williams did not play in a game in his first season at Nebraska in 2022.

Before Nebraska (John Ehret HS/Alabama)
Williams spent one season at Alabama before transferring to Nebraska. While utilizing his redshirt season, Williams appeared in one game for the Crimson Tide in 2021, earning time on special teams in the National Championship game against Georgia.

Prior to Alabama, Williams was a standout safety for John Ehret High School in Louisiana. A consensus pick as one of the nation's top 175 recruits, Williams totaled 13 interceptions and seven forced fumbles in his high school career.

Personal
Kaine was born on Oct. 5, 2002, and he is the son of Miesha Williams and Carlon Johnson. He is majoring in child, youth and family studies and has volunteered with the Nebraska Football Road Race, the Huskers’ Day of Service and Thanksgiving hospital visits.
