Godby High School in Florida, the alma mater of Husker defensive backs coach Travis Fisher. Yant rushed for 583 yards and 10 touchdowns as a senior on fewer than 100 carries. He had 908 rushing yards with 10 touchdowns as a junior, when he averaged 8.4 yards per carry and added 12 catches for 150 yards.
