Jacob Hood played in one game in 2023 against Purdue.
Before Nebraska (Hillsboro HS/Georgia)
Jacob Hood transferred to Nebraska after spending one season at Georgia. Hood arrived in Lincoln as a national champion, as the Bulldogs won the 2022 national title.
Hood redshirted in his lone season at Georgia. He went to Georgia as one of the nation’s top offensive line recruits. Hood starred for Hillsboro High School in Nashville, where he was rated as a four-star prospect by Rivals, which tabbed him as one of the top 25 offensive tackle recruits and one of the top 250 players overall.

Jacob was born on June 10, 2003, and he is the son of Shaneka Bell. He has volunteered his time with the Huskers’ Day of Service.
