2022 (Sophomore)
Cooper Jewett played in every game this season as a key member of Nebraska's special teams in 2022. He totaled five tackles this season, all on kickoff coverage, including two tackles against Minnesota. Offensively, Jewett had two carries for six yards at No. 3 Michigan.

2021 (Redshirt Freshman)
Jewett played in all 12 games in 2021, appearing at running back against Fordham and Northwestern in addition to being a special teams stalwart. He posted his first carry with a two-yard rush against Fordham. Jewett also recorded a special teams tackle on kickoff coverage at No. 19 Wisconsin.

2020 (Covid Season)
Jewett worked his way into Nebraska's running back rotation as a redshirt freshman in 2020. Jewett played in two games, finishing with one carry and one reception. He had a two-yard carry at Purdue and caught his first career pass at Rutgers.

2019 (Redshirt)
Jewett redshirted in his first season after joining the Husker program as a walk-on.

Before Nebraska (Elkhorn South HS)
Jewett joined the Husker program from Elkhorn South High School. Jewett earned Class A all-state honors from both the Omaha World-Herald and Lincoln Journal Star as a senior and was a second-team Super-State choice by the Journal Star. He helped Elkhorn South to a 7-4 record and a trip to the Class A quarterfinals. Jewett rushed for 1,074 yards and 16 touchdowns, while adding 365 receiving yards. On defense, he had 55 tackles and two interceptions for Coach Guy Rosenberg’s team. Jewett was an honorable-mention all-metro choice as a junior when Elkhorn South posted a 10-2 record and reached the Class B semifinals. Jewett had 417 rushing yards and added 39 tackles and four interceptions on defense. Jewett was selected to play in the 2019 Nebraska Shrine Bowl and rushed for 50 yards on only six carries and scored two touchdowns.

Personal
Cooper was born on March 13, 2001, and he is the son of Nate and Rachel Jewett and Jacqui and Beau Tripp. He is majoring in advertising and public relations and has volunteered his time with the Nebraska Football Road Race, Husker Heroes and local hospital outreach.
