2022 (Senior)
Chris Kolarevic saw extensive playing time as a senior, playing in every game and totaling 33 tackles with one tackle for loss. He had two tackles including a two-yard TFL against Northwestern and added two more tackles and a quarterback hurry against North Dakota. Kolarevic recorded eight tackles against No. 6 Oklahoma. He made three tackles against Indiana and blocked a punt that was returned 30 yards for a touchdown. At Rutgers, Kolarevic made two tackles and he also returned two short kickoffs for 18 yards. He recorded four tackles at Purdue. Kolarevic also had four tackles against No. 17 Illinois. He posted his third consecutive game with four tackles against Minnesota while recording his 200th career tackle. In his return to his home state, Kolarevic made one tackle at No. 3 Michigan and had two tackles against Wisconsin. In the final game of his career, Kolarevic made one tackle at Iowa.

2021 (Junior)
Kolarevic played in every game in his first season at Nebraska, totaling 27 tackles with 1.0 tackle for loss. He finished with four tackles in his Husker debut at Illinois. In a win over Fordham the next week, Kolarevic recorded three tackles. Against Buffalo, Kolarevic made four tackles. He had one stop at No. 3 Oklahoma and again at No. 20 Michigan State. 

Kolarevic made a season-high five tackles against Northwestern, and he had three solo tackles against No. 9 Michigan. He had four solo tackles at Minnesota. He made one tackle against No. 6 Ohio State, and Kolarevic ended his season with one tackle against No. 17 Iowa.

Before Nebraska (Saint Francis HS/Northern Iowa)
Kolarevic spent the past three years at Northern Iowa, redshirting in 2017 before starting at linebacker in both 2018 and 2019. He totaled 144 tackles, including 9.5 tackles for loss, with 2.0 sacks and two interceptions.

Kolarevic did not play for UNI in 2020, as the pandemic forced the postponement of the football season until the spring. As a sophomore in 2019, Kolarevic made 79 tackles with 6.5 TFLs and 2.0 sacks. In addition to averaging nearly eight tackles per game, Kolarevic had one interception, one pass breakup and one forced fumble. As a redshirt freshman in 2018, Kolarevic started six games before suffering an injury. He finished his shortened season with 65 tackles, 3.0 TFLs, one interception and four breakups. Kolarevic is originally from Traverse City, Mich., where he was an all-state selection for Saint Francis High School.

Personal
Chris is the son of John and Debbie Kolarevic, and he was born on July 14, 1999. He earned his master's degree in business from Nebraska in December of 2022.
