Before Nebraska (Southern HS)
Klover was a two-way standout for four seasons at Southern High School. Klover was an honorable-mention all-state pick as a senior, when he rushed for 1,104 yards and 17 touchdowns, including five 100-yard games. He added 54 tackles, seven tackles for loss, three sacks and one interception while helping Southern to the Class D-1 state playoffs. During his junior season, Klover tallied more than 1,000 all-purpose yards, including 759 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns. He added 67 tackles and six tackles for loss to gain honorable-mention all-state recognition. Klover had a team-high 111 tackles and six tackles for loss as a sophomore and made 65 tackles during his freshman season.
Personal
Braden is the son of Travis and Karen Klover, and he was born on Feb. 20, 2002. He is majoring in nutrition and health sciences. He has volunteered his time with the Nebraska Football Road Race and the Diversity and Inclusion Summit.
