Before Nebraska
Rylen Bourguet spent three years at Arizona State before transferring to Nebraska. She originally went to ASU on a beach volleyball scholarship before opting to spend her time training in flag football. She played for the Sun Devils' club flag football team.
Bourguet signed with the World Flag Series' professional league, WFS1, a five-on-five tournament which takes place on July 25. She is one of 30 athletes from 10 countries participating in the league.
Bourguet attended Salpointe High School, where she played soccer, beach volleyball and indoor volleyball. She earned 11 varsity letters and won seven state championships across the three sports.
