Before Nebraska
Nichelle Brown spent her first year of college playing flag football at Florida Gateway College. She helped the Timberwolves to a 19-1 record and the 2026 NJCAA Women's Flag Football national championship. During her lone season at Florida Gateway, Brown was selected to participate in the U.S. Women's Flag Football Team Trials.
In high school at Bradford High in Jacksonville, Fla., Brown helped lead her team to four district titles. She was the 2025 All-First Coast Player of the Year and was an all-conference selection on offense and defense. She totaled 144 touchdowns and 43 interceptions in her prep career.
