Before Nebraska 
Jaida Bayron spent three years playing flag football at Ottawa University from 2024 to 2026, where she led her team to two NAIA championships in 2024 and 2025. She had 132 catches for 1,418 yards and 17 touchdowns in her three seasons at Ottawa, while also passing for 406 yards and six touchdowns and returning eight punts for 90 yards.

As a junior in 2026, Bayron had 56 catches for 609 yards and seven touchdowns. In her sophomore season, Bayron recorded 65 receptions for 675 yards and five touchdowns. She ranked 18th in the NAIA in receiving yards in 2025 and 21st in receptions. Bayron had 11 receptions for 134 yards and five touchdowns as a freshman in 2024, when she also completed 21-of-32 passes for 229 yards and three touchdowns.

In high school, Bayron lettered in soccer and flag football at Somerset Academy Charter High School, participating in several tournaments and an All-Star Game and was a two-time first-team All-Dade selection.
