Before Nebraska
Anna Anderson spent her freshman season at Ottawa University in 2026, when she was a member of the inaugural NAIA women's flag football All-America first team. Anderson completed 491-of-646 passes for 4,982 yards and 73 touchdowns in 20 games, averaging 249.1 passing pards per game. Anderson also had 475 rushing yards and scored 15 touchdowns on the ground while catching two passes for 63 yards and one score. She accounted for a total of 89 touchdowns in the 2026 season. Anderson ranked fourth in the NAIA in completions, passing yards and passing touchdowns.
Prior to Ottawa, Anderson attended Park Hill High School, where she participated in tackle football, basketball and spirit club. She was an honorable-mention all-conference kicker in 2024 and was a two-time academic all-state selection in football and a three-time academic all-state pick in basketball. In flag football outside of Park Hill, Anderson helped her team to a Kansas City Chiefs NFL Flag Regional championship in 2024 and 2025.
