  • Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll (Fall 2012)

2013 (Outlook)
Lincoln native Sarah Dweikat will look to improve her times as a sophomore for the Huskers. A letterwinner as a true freshman on the cross country team in 2012, Dweikat regularly finished among NU's top seven runners.

She also will look to continue her success in the classroom after earning a spot on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall of 2012.

2012 (Freshman)
Dweikat joined the Nebraska cross country team in 2012 after a strong prep career at Lincoln East High School. Dweikat made a quick adjustment to the longer distances covered in collegiate cross country, usually contributing a top-seven finish for the Huskers throughout the season.

Dweikat competed in every meet as a freshman, including the NCAA Midwest Regional in Springfield, Mo. Dweikat posted a 24:29.02 at the meet, placing her 189th overall. Dweikat’s best performance of the season came at the Woody Greeno/Nebraska Invitational, where she ran a 23:53.03 to place 65th.

Dweikat earned a spot on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll during the fall of 2012.
