Katie Kelly redshirted during the indoor and outdoor seasons in her first year at Nebraska... did not compete in any meets due to a stress fracture and mononucleosis.<?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>

Before Nebraska (Omaha Marian HS)

Kelly qualified for the Nebraska Class A state meet in the 3,200-meter run in 2004 and 2006 under coaches Roger Wright and Dan Neilson... holds a personal best of 11:57.0 in the 3,200... qualified for the Nebraska state cross country meet all four years, with top-eight finishes in 2004 (5th), 2005 (7th) and 2006 (8th)... chose Nebraska over Nebraska-Omaha, Xavier, Kansas, Missouri and Minnesota.
