James Laville (pronounced LUH-vill), also a member of the Nebraska cross country program, returned in 2008 after redshirting in 2007 with a foot injury... ran a time of 2:40.54 in the 1,000 meters during the indoor season to finish fifth at the NWU Invite... clocked a personal-best time of 4:11.63 in the 1,500 meters at the Nebraska Open during the outdoor season.
2007 (Freshman)
Laville did not compete for Nebraska during the indoor or outdoor track seasons, but ran sparingly as an unattached runner in four indoor and one outdoor meets... battled a foot injury all season.
Before Nebraska (Jesuit HS)
Laville ran only two years of high school track, but logged extensive cross country experience at Jesuit High School under Coach Walt Lange... ran his personal-best 1,600-meter time of 4:25.76 at the Sacramento Meet of Champions... was a member of the National Honor Society.
