A transfer from Barton County Community College, Cleophas Boor was familiar with Nebraska’s Pioneer’s Park cross country course before ever wearing the Scarlet and Cream. Boor won his second Woody Greeno title in 1996, and first as a Husker, in 24:05.0, the third-fastest 8,000-meter time ever posted at Pioneer’s Park.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Boor finished third at the 1996 NCAA Championships, the second-highest finish ever by a Husker.  Teamed with Jonah Kiptarus, Boor helped NU to a seventh-place finish, the best finish in school history.  The following year, Boor finished sixth at the national meet, as Nebraska earned an 11th-place finish.

The school record holder in the 10,000-meter run     (28:50.9), Boor also sits among Nebraska’s top five all-time at three other distances.
