2022: Played in 17 games, including one start for the Huskers. • Totaled two stolen bases and a run on the season. • Had a stolen base and run scored in Nebraska’s 8-2 win at UT Arlington. • Also stole a base at Omaha in a pinch-running role.

2021: Redshirted his first season at Nebraska.

Before Nebraska: Tyler Palmer joins the Huskers from Scotus Central Catholic High School, where he played under Coach Jimmy Johnson • Ranked as the No. 9 overall prospect in Nebraska and the No. 2 outfielder by Prep Baseball Report and Perfect Game, Palmer was also tabbed an Underclass All-American in 2018 and 2019 • Batted .360 for his career with 74 hits, 31 RBIs, four home runs and a .460 on-base percentage • Holds the school’s career record for stolen bases (38) and single-season record (15) • A three-time all-state member, he was named the school’s athlete of the year and lifter of the year in 2019 • In addition to baseball, he also earned four letters playing football and basketball • Had a stellar career on the gridiron as a quarterback and safety, earning all-state honors • Holds the school record for points scored (336) and touchdowns in a game (6) • Played in the 2020 Shrine Bowl.
 
Personal: Born on Aug. 8, 2001 • Parents are Tami and Travis Weber and Brian Palmer • Has four sisters, Sophie Palmer, Faith Weber, Aniston Weber and Kylee Palmer • Majoring in nutrition, exercise and health science.
