2021: Martin came out of the bullpen 10 times for the Huskers, notching a 2.16 ERA over 8.1 innings. • Had a 2-0 record with wins coming against Iowa and Rutgers. • Didn’t allow an earned run over his last seven appearances, which spanned a total of 5.2 innings. • Allowed no runs in nine of the 10 games he appeared in. • Threw a season-high 1.2 innings against Arkansas on June 5 in the Fayetteville Regional, striking out two. • Struck out two and allowed no hits or runs against Maryland on April 10.

2020: Tyler Martin made five relief appearances on the mound before the season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic • Compiled an 8.44 ERA across 5.1 innings • Pitched a season-high 1.2 innings at Baylor on Feb. 14 and didn’t allow a run • Threw 0.2 no-hit scoreless inning of relief against Columbia on March 8 • Tossed 1.0 no-hit scoreless inning against Northern Colorado on March 11.

2019: Martin made eight appearances out of the bullpen and compiled 10.2 innings of work during his first year at Nebraska • Produced an 8.44 ERA and recorded eight strikeouts • Made his debut on March 20, as he threw 1.0 no-hit scoreless inning against Air Force • Tossed a season-high 3.1 innings against Michigan on May 25 in the Big Ten Tournament, striking out four batters and allowed one earned run.

Before Nebraska: Martin joined the Huskers from Webb City High School in Missouri, where he played under Coach Garr Highfill • As a senior in 2018, he earned first-team all-state and first-team all-conference honors after recording a 1.28 ERA with 75 strikeouts in 50 innings • Collected second-team all-conference accolades as a junior • Was a three-year honor roll member • Played summer ball for Midwest Nationals under Coach Randy Merryman, compiling a 1.84 ERA to help the team win the Mid-America World Series title.
