Tabbed the No. 2 left-handed pitcher and No. 11 overall prospect out of Minnesota by Perfect Game. • Competed in baseball at Mayo Senior High School. • Named Big 9 Conference Player of the Year and earned all-conference and all-state recognition while leading the Spartans to a Big 9 Conference title. • As a senior, went 6-1 on the mound with 62 strikeouts in 41 innings. • Hit .333 with a 1.006 OPS, five homers and 30 RBI in senior campaign. • Earned all-conference and all-area accolades in back-to-back seasons as a sophomore and junior.
