2023: Started 48 games in his second season at Nebraska. • Hit .256 at the plate with 11 doubles and seven home runs. • Tallied 29 RBI and 33 runs. • Recorded 12 multi-hit games, including a pair of three-hit performances. • Posted six multi-RBI games, including a season-high five RBI at South Alabama. • Went 3-for-4 with two homers, five RBI and a pair of runs scored in 9-3 win at South Alabama. • Recorded two doubles in a three-hit performance at Michigan.
2022: Caron played in 26 games, making 22 starts at catcher and designated hitter in his first season at Nebraska. • Hit .179 with three doubles. • Totaled 14 hits, seven RBI and 10 runs. • Recorded three multi-hit games and one multi-RBI game. • Went 2-for-5 with a season-high two RBI and a run against New Mexico State. • Also posted two hits against Sam Houston and Omaha. • Scored season-high two runs vs. UT Arlington and Omaha. • Hit doubles vs. Sam Houston, BYU and North Dakota State.
Before Nebraska: Played high school baseball under Rob Hamilton at Sun Prairie High School. • Ranked No. 2 catcher and No. 10 overall prospect in Wisconsin by Perfect Game. • Earned first-team all-conference, first-team all-district and first-team all-state honors as a senior. • Tabbed second-team All-American in senior campaign. • Named WBCA Division I Player of the Year. • Helped team win state title in 2021. • As a senior, hit .436 with eight homers and 42 RBI. • Set single-season home run and RBI records in senior year. • Helped Sun Prairie to a 24-8 record and runner-up finish at state, while hitting .402 with eight doubles, two homers and 28 RBI in 2019.
