2023: Drafted in the 10th round of the 2023 MLB Draft with the No. 292 overall selection by the Colorado Rockies. • Started 14 games on the mound for the Huskers. • Went 7-3 with a 4.13 ERA. • Totaled 57 strikeouts in 72 innings. • Limited opposing hitters to a .235 hitting clip. • Posted six outings with at least six innings, including seven-inning outings against Illinois State, Minnesota and Penn State. • Had eight appearances with four-plus strikeouts, including a season-high seven strikeouts against Minnesota, Penn State and Purdue. • Compiled five strikeouts against Maryland.
Before Nebraska: Kaminska joins the Huskers after playing two seasons at Wichita State. • Tabbed a First-Team Freshman All-American by D1Baseball and Perfect Game in 2021. • Named a NCBWA Second-Team Freshman All-American and CBN Freshman All-American. • Was the American Athletic Conference Newcomer Pitcher of the Year and a first-team all-conference honoree in 2021. • Made 12 appearances and 10 starts, going 8-1 with two complete-games and 2.32 ERA. • Allowed just 16 earned runs on 51 hits with 51 strikeouts and 19 walks in 62 innings. • Pitched in 15 games, making 12 starts as a sophomore in 2022. • Went 3-9 with a 5.49 ERA in 78.2 innings. • Struck out 86 and walked 29 hitters. • Was a four-year letterwinner at Caney Valley High School. • Tabbed 2019 and 2020 Kansas Gatorade Player of the Year. • First-team all-state honoree and Class 3A Pitcher of the Year as a sophomore and junior. • In his career, compiled a 0.51 ERA with a 14-1 record while allowing just 20 hits in 96 innings with 229 strikeouts.
Personal: Born on Dec. 9, 2001. • Parents are Mike and Carrie Kaminska. • Has one sister, Kamryn, and one brother, Nate. • His mother and father played softball and baseball collegiately at Northwest Missouri State, respectively.
