2022: Anglim was chosen to the All-Big Ten Freshman Team. • Appeared in 49 games, including 45 starts in the outfield for the Huskers in 2022. • Hit a team-best .303 at the plate. • Totaled 11 doubles, four triples and four home runs. • Recorded 28 RBI and 28 runs scored on the season. • Had 12 multi-hit games and five multi-RBI games. • Tied a school record and became the fourth Husker all-time with a three-homer game after going 3-for-5 with three home runs, five RBI and three runs scored in Nebraska’s 12-1 run-rule victory vs. Iowa. • Posted a season-high four hits and three runs at Minnesota. • Also homered vs. Oral Roberts. • Concluded season with a seven-game hitting streak.
2021: Redshirted his first season at Nebraska.
Before Nebraska: Garrett Anglim (pronounced Ang-lum) played high school baseball at Papillion-La Vista under Coach Nate McCabe • Selected as a 2020 NHSBCA Region 5 Player of the Year • Was the top-ranked outfielder in Nebraska by Prep Baseball Report and Perfect Game, which also selected him as a Rawlings Preseason All-American in 2018 • During his junior season in 2019, Anglim earned all-state honors after being among the Class A leaders in several offensive categories, including hits (31), runs (30), triples (5) and stolen bases • Batted .360 during the 2019 campaign with a .450 on-base percentage.
