2021: Olson appeared in 10 games out of the bullpen, stretching across 12 innings. • Held an ERA of 4.50 while notching 16 strikeouts to only six walks. • Boasted a 1-0 record after recording his only victory of the season against Ohio State while striking out three and working through two innings. • Made his season debut against Ohio State on March 14, where he threw an inning and struck out one. • Appeared twice in the Fayetteville Regional. • Threw 1.2 innings in the Fayetteville Regional while striking out two and not allowing an earned run.
Before Nebraska: Olson joined the Huskers from Maine West High School, where he played under Coach Mike Randazzo • Compiled a 1.04 ERA on the mound, while batting .373 with five home runs and 25 RBIs for his career • Selected to the all-area and all-conference teams • During the 2019 Regional Semifinals, he recorded 16 strikeouts and allowed only one run on two hits in 7.0 innings of work • Maine West captured Regional titles in 2016 and 2017.
