2020: Kyle Wisch made one relief appearance before the season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic • Came out of the bullpen for his Husker debut on March 11 against Northern Colorado and recorded two strikeouts, while allowing one run, in 2.0 innings of work.
Before Nebraska: Wisch came to Nebraska from Hinsdale Central High School in Clarendon Hills, Ill., where he played under Coach Jason Ziemer • Earned all-conference honors in 2018, but had to sit out in 2019 due to injury • Won the 2019 Baseball Red Devil Award • Played summer baseball for the Chi Town Cream under Coach Chuck Reeder and helped the team to a 43-4-1 record in 2018 • The team won three tournaments and finished second in the Perfect Game World Series and fourth in the WWBA.
