2018: Brison Cronenbold started 14 games at shortstop and made 21 appearances overall • Hit .269 (14-for-52) with three doubles, one home run, six RBIs and eight runs scored • Went 1-for-2 in two appearances during the Indiana series • Went 2-for-2 with a double and two runs scored against Maryland on May 4 • Went 2-for-3 with a double, one RBI and one run scored against Nevada on April 27 • Recorded a hit in both of his starts against Cal Poly, going 2-for-8 during the series with one home run, three runs scored and three RBIs • Blasted his first career home run on March 10 during the first game of a doubleheader against Cal Poly • Had a career-high three hits against Utah on Feb. 23 with one run scored and one RBI, while leading the Husker defense with five assists • Made three appearances, including two starts, during the opening weekend.

2017: Cronenbold made 31 appearances with eight starts at shortstop • Often entered late in games as a defensive substitution in the infield • Ranked fourth on the team in assists (38) • Ranked fourth in fielding double plays (9) • Hit .222 (8-for-36) with three doubles, five RBIs and five runs scored • Went 1-for-1 stealing bases • Had a double and an RBI in game one of a doubleheader at Cal Poly on March 25 • Went 2-for-5 with a double, a run scored and a stolen base against Northern Colorado on March 8 • Had a double and an RBI against Oregon State on Feb. 25.

Before Nebraska: Cronenbold transferred to Nebraska after spending two seasons at Ventura College in Ventura, Calif., where he played for Donald Adams • Was a second-team All-Western State Conference selection in 2016 • Played in 35 of the Pirates’ 36 games as a sophomore in 2016 • Led the Pirates in runs (34) and doubles (13), while tying for the team lead in triples (3) • Ranked second on the team with a .340 (49-for-144) batting average and was third in RBIs (21) • Had an on-base percentage of .407 and slugged .493 • Played in five games as a freshman in 2015 • Was 5-for-8 with one run scored and two RBIs • Played for Ryan Geisler at Thousand Oaks High School and graduated in the spring of 2013.

Personal: Born on April 18, 1995, in Thousand Oaks, Calif. • Parents are Jose Cronenbold and Laurie Cronenbold • Has two brothers, Hayden and Tanner • Earned a bachelor's degree from Nebraska as a psychology major in December of 2018.
