2015: Nathan Chunn redshirted his first season at Nebraska.
Before Nebraska: Chunn transferred to Nebraska after spending one season at Modesto Junior College in Modesto, Calif. • Hit .294 last season for the Pirates in 32 games • Notched 30 hits, including 10 doubles, while driving in 12 and scoring 13 runs • Graduated from Escalon High School in Escalon, Calif., where he played for Greg Largent • Was part of three state titles for the Cougars, including two in baseball and one in football • Was a first-team all-section pick and two-time first-team all-league pick on the diamond • Tabbed as the Sac-Joaquin Section Player of the Year and the Stockton Record Player of the Year on the gridiron • Played club baseball for NorCal Valley under Danny Ayala.
