2015: Christian Cox was named Nebraska Baseball Lifter of the Year in 2015 • Played in 33 games and made 18 starts in the outfield • Hit .147 on the year, but was tied for third on the team with three home runs • Two of his three home runs came in the same game against Minnesota on April 12 • Was the first Husker to hit two home runs in a game since Cody Asche did it against Baylor on April 30, 2011 • Performed better during Big Ten play with a .219 batting average in 16 games, including nine starts.

2014: Cox played in all three games at the NCAA Stillwater Regional, including a pair of starts against Cal State Fullerton • Went 3-for-9 at the tournament, with a single in each game • Was a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs scored, a stolen base and a pair of RBIs for his first career multi-RBI game in a 5-3 win over UNLV on March 30 • Was 3-for-3 with a walk and a HBP to reach base all five times he went to the plate in a 14-7 win over St. John’s on March 9 • Picked up his first career hit and scored a run in the season opener against Pacific on Feb. 14 • Scored a pair of runs and notched his first career RBI on against Gonzaga on Feb. 15 • Threw 0.2 inning of relief against Oregon State on Feb. 15, giving up one run on one hit and two walks.

Personal: Born on April 22, 1992 • Parents are Doug Cox and Peggy Cox • Has two brothers, Dalton and Colton • Earned his bachelor's degree in December of 2016 after majoring in nutrition science at Nebraska.
