Former Husker and and Major Leaguer Ken Harvey returned to Nebraska to finish his degree and also served as an undergraduate student assistant coach for the Husker baseball team in 2014.
A first-team All-American and finalist for the Golden Spikes Award in 1999, Harvey was picked by the Kansas City Royals in the fifth round of the 1999 Draft. Harvey spent four seasons with the Royals from 2001 to 2005, including an All-Star season in 2004.
