Was named NJCAA Pitcher of the Week after fanning 12 over six innings against Cloud County CC ? Helped Seward CC to a fifth-place finish at the 2004 NJCAA World Series, going 2-0 with a save, as he struck out 21 in 19.2 innings ? Pitched for Coach Bob Steinkamp’s Beatrice Bruins over the summer, going 4-3 with a save and a 3.50 ERA, leading the Bruins in innings (61.2) and strikeouts (79) ?
