2019: Reece Eddins made 15 appearances, including 13 starts, spending most of the season as Nebraska’s Sunday starter • Went 6-4 with a 5.37 ERA and racked up 48 strikeouts in 68.2 innings • His six wins were tied for second-most on the team • Ranked third on the team in ERA, strikeouts and innings pitched • In Big Ten play, led the Husker pitching staff with a 5-0 record in eight starts and ranked second on the team with a 2.91 ERA in 46.1 innings • After going 0-2 over his first three appearances of the season, he went 6-0 over his next 10 outings • Recorded five strikeouts in 3.0 scoreless innings against Oregon State on Feb. 24 • Didn’t allow a run in back-to-back starts against Air Force and Michigan State over a span of 8.0 total innings • Tallied a career-high seven strikeouts at Minnesota on March 31 in 7.0 innings • Won three consecutive starts from April 7 to 21, lasting 7.0 innings twice during that span • Struck out six batters in 7.0 innings at Penn State on April 13 • Earned back-to-back wins against Northwestern and Arizona State in May with a pair of 6.0-inning outings • Posted six strikeouts against the Wildcats on May 6.

2018: Eddins returned from a 2017 injury to make eight appearances, including one start, during the second half of the 2018 season • Went 1-0 with a 9.00 ERA in 11.0 innings and recorded six strikeouts • Tossed 1.0 inning of no-hit scoreless relief against Indiana on May 11 • Earned the win against Maryland on May 5 when he threw 2.0 one-hit scoreless innings out of the bullpen • Went 2.0 innings in the start against Nevada on April 26, allowing two runs on four hits, while recording two strikeouts and no walks • Allowed one run in 2.1 innings of relief at Rutgers on April 20 • Threw 1.2 innings of relief in the first game of a doubleheader against Iowa on April 13, allowing two runs and recording two strikeouts • Made his first appearance since March 28, 2017 when he came out of the bullpen on April 1, 2018 at Ohio State.

2017: Eddins made seven relief appearances, compiling a 1-1 record with a 5.91 ERA, before receiving a medical hardship • Threw 10.2 innings, and struck out eight • Earned a win on March 8 against Northern Colorado in 3.2 innings of work, striking out three batters • Had a scoreless outing in 2.1 innings on March 24 at Cal Poly.

2016: After making only five appearances as a freshman in 2015, Eddins had a breakout season in 2016, as he made 26 appearances as a key member of NU’s bullpen • Ranked second on the team with a 1.85 ERA over 48.2 innings • Recorded the eighth-lowest single-season ERA in NU history by a pitcher who threw at least 40.0 innings • ERA was 2.70 after his first appearance of the season and was never above 1.96 the rest of the year • Was part of three combined shutouts and notched one save • First career save came at Purdue on March 27 • After allowing an earned run at Long Beach State March 5, he didn’t allow an earned run in 18.2 innings over his next 10 appearances, a streak that ran from March 9 to April 5 • After allowing two earned runs in three straight appearances, came back and made nine straight appearances without allowing an earned run • Allowed just two earned runs in 14.0 innings over his final 10 appearances of the year.

2015: Eddins made five appearances, all out of the bullpen, as a freshman in 2015 • Finished the year with a 9.82 ERA over 3.2 innings with two strikeouts • Made his debut against BYU on Feb. 19, tossing 1.1 innings of perfect relief with one strikeout • Matched his season high with 1.1 innings against Northern Colorado on March 10, but allowed two runs on four hits.

Before Nebraska: Eddins joined the Huskers from Blue Springs South High School in Lee’s Summit, Mo. • Was tabbed a top-200 right-handed pitcher in the nation and the No. 12 overall player in the state of Missouri by Perfect Game • Was a 2014 All-Central Region second-team pick by Perfect Game and a 2013 Underclass High Honorable-Mention pick • Led the Jaguars to their first state tournament appearance in 2014, where they placed third in Class 5, the largest class in the state • Was the first player in Jackson County to toss back-to-back no-hitters, including a 13-strikeout performance against Blue Springs • Notched 68 strikeouts in 59 innings as a senior • Competed at the PG WWBA World Championships in Jupiter, Fla., for Marucci Elite • Helped the squad defeat Puerto Rico by throwing 2.0 innings of scoreless relief • Competed at the 2013 Metropolitan Baseball Classic at Citi Field in Flushing Meadows, N.Y., for the St. Louis Mets.

Personal: Born on Nov. 12, 1995 • Parents are John and Cindee Eddins • Has one sister, Brooke, and two brothers, Jace and Cole • Majored in mechanical engineering...bachelor's degree from Nebraska in May of 2019.
