2020: Mike Addante (pronounced Uh-DONTAY) played in four games, with one start in left field, before the season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic • Went 1-for-5 in limited at-bats • His lone hit of the season came on Feb. 29 at Arizona State.

2019: Addante played in 13 games, including five starts, and went 3-for-15 with three runs scored during the season • Played in 12 of the first 23 games • On Feb. 16, in the first game of a doubleheader against UC Riverside, he went 2-for-3 with one run scored and one stolen base • Also had a hit against Oregon State on Feb. 23.

2018: Addante started seven of his 17 appearances with five starts as the designated hitter and two starts in center field • Batted .133 (4-for-30) with one double, seven RBIs and five runs scored • Drove in two runs as part of a 1-for-1 day at Illinois on May 18 • Drove in four runs as part of a 2-for-5 day in the series finale at Ohio State on April 1 • First career hit was a double against Northern Colorado on March 14 as a pinch hitter • Made his Husker debut on Feb. 17 against Washington State and his first career start in the second game of the day against UC Riverside.

Before Nebraska: A native of Algonquin, Ill., Addante played high school baseball at Harry D. Jacobs under Coach Robert “Jamie” Murray • Helped the Golden Eagles to a third-place state finish in 2014 • Harry D. Jacobs captured regional titles in 2015 and 2016 • Batted .341 with a .581 slugging percentage and .991 on-base plus slugging percentage • In the 2016 postseason, went 8-for-11 (.727 average, 1.182 slugging percentage, 1.951 OPS) with a triple and three doubles to help the team to a regional crown • Captured Fox Valley All-Conference honors • Made the Fox Valley All-Area Team • Earned first-team Northwest Herald All-Area accolades • Buffalo Wild Wings Athlete of the Month Award recipient • Earned 2017 Rawlings/Perfect Game high honorable-mention Preseason All-America honors • Selected to the 2015 and 2016 Perfect Game WWBA National Championship All-Tournament Team • Member of the National Honor Society • Played club baseball for Elite Baseball Training Chicago under Coach Justin Stone • The team earned a Top 10 national ranking from Perfect Game • Earned a pair of third-place finishes at the Perfect Game National Championship • Received a “Legacy Award” in 2016, the program’s highest award for leadership and character.

Personal: Born on Nov. 8, 1998 in Arlington Heights, Ill. • Parents are Jeff and Debbie Addante • Has one sister, Nicole, and one brother, Joe • Hobbies include flying airplanes • Earned his bachelor's degree as a management major at Nebraska in May of 2021.
