2016: Elijah Dilday played in 19 games, including 18 starts, during the 2016 season • Hit .226 (14-for-62) with one double, two triples and five RBIs • In limited Big Ten action, high .364 over four games played with one double and one triple • Left the team and transferred at the end of the season.

2015: After missing the first 20 games of the season with a shoulder injury to his non-throwing arm, Dilday made his Husker debut on March 20 against Michigan • Went on to play in 20 games, including 12 starts • Hit .205 (9-for-44) on the year with two doubles, one triple and five RBIs • Was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week on March 30 after hitting .462 over five starts the previous week • Produced his first double and multi-hit game in a sweep-clinching win over Texas on March 29 • Had a double, triple and career-high three RBIs in a win over Kansas State on April 21.

Before Nebraska: Dilday joined Nebraska after a stellar prep career at Francis Howell High School in St. Charles, Mo. • Ranked as the No. 293 high school player in the country and the No. 5 overall player in the state of Missouri by Perfect Game • Was named a first-team All-Central Region pick in 2014 by Perfect Game and was a honorable-mention Underclass All-American in 2013 • Was a first-team All-American by both the National High School Baseball Coaches Association and Louisville Slugger following his senior season • Hit .450 as a senior with 19 doubles, two triples, five home runs and 50 RBIs in 129 at bats, while also scoring 54 runs and stealing 16 bases • Was tabbed as a third-team All-American in 2013 by the NHSBCA after hitting .432 as a junior with 51 hits, including 17 doubles, three triples and eight home runs in 118 at bats • Led the Vikings to a Class 5 state title in 2013 and a runner-up finish in 2014 • Shined for the St. Louis Mets at the eight-team 2013 Metropolitan Baseball Classic, hosted at Citi Field in Flushing Meadows, N.Y. • Was joined on the team by fellow Huskers Zack Engelken and Reece Eddins.
