2017: Cole Klemke (pronounced KLEM-key) did not make any appearances for the Huskers in 2017.

2016: Klemke played in 17 games, including 11 starts, as a true freshman in 2016 • Seven of his starts came during Big Ten play • Hit .220 (9-for-41) in limited at bats with two doubles and five RBIs • Made his debut as a pinch hitter at College of Charleston on Feb. 20 • Earned his first start in his hometown of San Diego at the Tony Gwynn Classic against San Diego on Feb. 26 • Went 2-for-4 against the Toreros with a double and two RBIs • Also doubled against Kansas State on April 5 • Started against Western Carolina at the NCAA Tournament, going 0-for-2 with a walk.

Before Nebraska: Klemke hit .318 and stole 18 bases as a senior at Torrey Pines High School in San Diego, Calif. • Helped the Falcons reach the CIF San Diego semifinals • Ranked as the No. 215 shortstop prospect in the country and the No. 195 overall player in the state of California by Perfect Game • Earned underclass honorable-mention All-America honors in 2014 from Perfect Game and was a 2015 California Region honorable-mention pick • Named to the all-tournament team at the 2013 Perfect Game/Evoshield National Championships as a member of the Solana Beach Cardinals.
