2020: Mojo Hagge (pronounced Hag-ee) played in 14 of 15 games before the season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic • Started 12 games in left field • Batted .167 (7-for-42) with three runs scored and three RBIs • Went 2-for-4 at San Diego on Feb. 21 with two RBIs and one run scored.
2019: Hagge played in 51 games (37 starts), with 26 starts in left field, two starts in center field and nine starts as the designated hitter • Batted .280 (45-for-161), ranking second on the team in batting average and third on the team in hits • Shared the team high in triples (2) • Ranked third on the team in slugging percentage (.385) and stolen bases (7) • Ranked fourth on the team in runs scored (31) and total bases (62) • Also had seven doubles and two home runs • His 25 RBIs were fifth-most on the team • Tallied 10 multi-hit games and four multi-RBI performances • Defensively, his .985 fielding percentage ranked third on the team • Opened the season with a 3-for-3 outing at UC Riverside on Feb. 15, which included two RBIs and three runs scored • Drove in four runs as part of a 3-for-5 performance against Air Force on March 20 • Smashed a pair of home runs during the Minnesota series (March 29-31) • Went 3-for-5 with a double, four RBIs and two runs scored against Purdue on April 5 • Went 2-for-2 with a double, an RBI and a run scored at Iowa on April 20 • Recorded three hits against Illinois on April 28 • Doubled as part of a 2-for-2 outing at Northwestern on May 6 • Went 3-for-4 with a double and a triple against Iowa at the Big Ten Tournament on May 24.
2018: Hagge played in all 52 games, with 47 starts, making 46 starts in left field and one start in center field • Had the third-best batting average on the team (.275), behind only All-Big Ten performers Jesse Wilkening (.372) and Scott Schreiber (.369) • His 52 hits tied for third on the team • Led the Huskers in triples (3) • His 45 runs scored tied for second on the team • Tallied seven doubles, two home runs and 21 RBIs, while going 3-for-5 stealing bases • Team-best 15-game hitting streak spanned from April 20 to May 17 • Recorded 10 multi-hit efforts and three multi-RBI performances • Drove in one run as part of a 2-for-5 day in the season finale on May 19 at Illinois • Went 2-for-3 at Creighton on May 8 with a double and two runs scored • Had a hit in all three games during the Nevada series with two doubles, three RBIs and five runs scored for the weekend • Managed at least one hit in all three games during the Rutgers series, going 4-for-12 with one home run, one double, one RBI, one stolen base and three runs scored • Went 2-for-4 with one RBI and one run scored against Kansas State on April 17 • Smashed a solo home run at Kansas State on April 10 • Had at least one hit in all three games during the Ohio State series, going 5-for-14 with one triple, one double, two RBIs and three runs scored • Went 1-for-1 with two runs scored, two RBIs and a stolen base at Oral Roberts on March 21 • Went 4-for-9 during the Northwestern State series with two RBIs, one double and one run scored, including a 3-for-5 showing on March 17 • Went 6-for-12 during the Wichita State series with one triple and a team-high four runs scored • In the series finale against the Shockers on March 4, went 3-for-5 with three runs scored • Scored five runs over a four-game stretch against UC Riverside and Washington State.
2017: Hagge had a breakout freshman campaign, making 56 appearances, including 16 starts in left field and 33 starts in right field • Hit .277 with a team-leading three triples • His 57 hits included eight doubles and one home run • Scored 33 runs, the fifth-most on the team • Tallied 27 RBIs, the fifth-most on the team • Went 2-for-4 stealing bases • His .991 fielding percentage ranked fifth on the team • His 106 putouts were fifth-most on the team • First career home run came at the Big Ten Tournament on May 24 against Purdue • Totaled 13 multi-hit games, including a pair of four-hit efforts • Had seven multi-RBI performances, including a season-high three RBIs against Penn State on May 20 • In the Big Ten regular-season title-clinching game at Penn State on May 20, matched a career high with four hits • Tripled at Penn State on May 18 • Named Big Ten Freshman of the Week on May 22 after the Penn State series • Went 4-for-5 with one run and one RBI against Rutgers on May 6 • Went 3-for-5 with three runs scored in the series finale at Ohio State on April 30 • Reached base in each of the first 21 games of his career • Roped a two-out, two-RBI triple in the eighth inning against Iowa on April 16, eventually scoring the game-winning run • Went 3-for-5 with a double in NU’s series-clinching win over Maryland on April 9 • Notched a double and a triple at Cal Poly on March 25 • Went 3-for-5 with two runs scored against Northern Colorado on March 8 • Recorded two hits and scored NU’s lone run in a 1-0 win over No. 14 Arizona on March 5 • Went 2-for-3 in his Husker debut against UC Riverside on Feb. 17 • Named to the Frisco College Baseball Classic All-Tournament Team.
Before Nebraska: Hagge joined the Huskers from Omaha Skutt Catholic High School, where he was part of Class B runner-up teams in 2014 and 2016 under Coach Shawn Exner • Was a first-team Super-State pick by the Lincoln Journal Star and first-team All-Nebraska selection by the Omaha World-Herald in 2016 • Hit .455 as a senior with nine doubles, three triples, two home runs and 23 RBIs • Also scored 35 runs, stole 14 bases and slugged .666 • Opened the 2016 state tournament against Gretna with a double and three triples, a state tournament record for triples in a single game • Produced a .466 batting average as a junior and was a first-team Class B all-state honoree • Was a two-time letterwinner in both baseball and football.
Personal: Born on Sept. 28, 1997, in Omaha, Neb. • Parents are Dawn and Morrie Hagge • Has two sisters, Mackenzie and Meredith, and one brother, Michael • Earned his bachelor's degree as a civil engineering major at Nebraska in May of 2021.
