Made 19 appearances, including a pair of starts on the mound for the Huskers. • Went 1-1 with three saves. • Compiled a 5.46 ERA and 29 strikeouts in 31.1 innings. • Held opposing hitters to a .251 batting average. • Picked up lone win after dealing a season-high 4.1 innings against Creighton. • Notched four outings with at least three strikeouts, including a season-high four strikeouts vs. Northwestern and Creighton. • Collected saves vs. South Alabama, Penn State and Purdue. • Had a pair of three-inning appearances against Creighton and Iowa.

2022
Appeared in five games, making four starts before suffering a season-ending injury. • Went 0-2 with a 6.75 ERA. • Totaled 17 strikeouts in 14.2 innings. • Limited opposing hitters to a .276 batting average. • Pitched a season-high five innings against UT Arlington, allowing zero runs on five hits with four strikeouts. • Recorded a season-high eight strikeouts in 4.1 innings against TCU. • Tallied three strikeouts at Omaha and two at Sam Houston.

2021
Kyle Perry made four starts on the mound while coming back from injury. • Posted a 2-0 record in 10.1 innings of work. • Totaled 15 strikeouts on the season. • Had wins against Ohio State and Michigan. • Tallied a 3.48 ERA with 15 strikeouts, while limiting opposing batters to .184 hitting. • Tossed a season-high 4.1 innings at Arkansas in the Fayetteville Regional. • Recorded a season-high seven strikeouts in the no-decision against the top-ranked Razorbacks. • Allowed one hit in two shutout innings vs. Ohio State. • Threw three scoreless innings with four strikeouts and no hits allowed in win against Michigan.

2020
Perry made four appearances, including one start, on the mound before the season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic • Went 1-0 with a 5.06 ERA across 10.2 innings, while tallying 11 strikeouts, third-most on the team, and only two walks • Didn’t allow any hits, runs or walks in his first two outings, which spanned 4.2 innings against Baylor and Arizona • Recorded seven strikeouts and allowed only one run on two hits in 5.0 innings against Columbia on March 6 to earn the win.

2019
Perry made 11 appearances on the mound, including seven starts, during his first year at Nebraska • Went 2-1 with a 5.47 ERA and 29 strikeouts in 26.1 innings • Made his debut on Feb. 16 in the second game of a doubleheader at UC Riverside • Recorded a season-high nine strikeouts in 4.0 innings to earn the win against Air Force on March 20 • Struck out four batters and allowed only one run in 3.2 innings as the starter at Creighton on March 26 • Threw a season-high 7.0 scoreless innings to earn the win at Kansas State on April 2 • Tossed 3.1 innings against Michigan, allowing one run, during the Big Ten Tournament on May 25 • Held UConn scoreless in 1.0 inning of relief at the NCAA Oklahoma City Regional.

Millard South High School
Perry played high school baseball at Millard South under Coach Greg Geary • In 2018, he helped the Patriots to a runner-up finish at the state tournament, going 6-2 with one save and a 1.35 ERA and 81 strikeouts on the mound • As a hitter in 2018, he batted .354 with 11 RBIs and 24 runs scored • Earned first-team all-state from the Omaha World-Herald and Super-State honors from the Lincoln Journal Star in 2018 • In 2017, he went 10-0 with a 0.47 ERA and 90 strikeouts • Helped the team to a third-place finish at state in 2017, which included a no-hitter against Millard North in the first round • Named the captain of the 2017 first-team all-state team by the Omaha World-Herald and the Lincoln Journal Star Super-State Team • In 2016, went 3-1 with one save and a 0.33 ERA and 30 strikeouts • Also earned three letters in basketball, garnering second-team all-state plaudits from the Omaha World-Herald and second-team Super-State honors from the Lincoln Journal Star in 2018 • Played Legion baseball for the Duensing Patriot 52s, going 8-1 with a 0.66 ERA and 90 strikeouts in 2018, while hitting .319 with 54 hits, 30 RBIs and 45 runs scored • In 2017, he went 5-1 on the mound with a 2.20 ERA and 53 strikeouts, while hitting .306 with 16 RBIs and 24 runs scored • In 2016, he went 8-0 with a 1.42 ERA and 52 strikeouts, while batting .348 with 20 RBIs and 21 runs scored.

Born on March 23, 2000 • Parents are Phil and Terri Perry • Has one sister, Erin, and one brother, Matthew • A sports media and communication major, he earned his bachelor's degree from Nebraska in December of 2022.
