Named to the Big Ten All-Tournament Team. • Hit .242 with 12 doubles, a triple and seven homers. • Drove in team-leading 44 RBI and scored 26 times. • Added two stolen bases. • Posted .460 slugging percentage. • Compiled seven multi-hit games and 11 multi-RBI contests. • Had season-high four hits and seven RBI after going 4-for-5 with two doubles, a homer, seven RBI and three runs scored at Maryland. • Went 3-for-4 with two doubles, a home run and six RBI vs. No. 16 Vanderbilt. • Drove in four runs vs. Northwestern and had three RBI vs. Washington and Kansas State. • Homered against No. 16 Vanderbilt, Washington, Northwestern, Maryland, Creighton, No. 4 Oregon and Penn State.
2024
Named to the All-Stillwater Regional Team and Big Ten All-Tournament Team. • Hit .327 at the plate with eight doubles and eight home runs. • Drove in 22 runs and scored 16 times. • Posted a .385 on-base percentage and .653 slugging percentage. • Stole three bases in four attempts. • Homered four times in the Stillwater Regional, becoming the first Husker to homer four times in regional play since Matt Hopper in the 2003 Lincoln Regional. • Hit the game-winning RBI double in the top of the ninth inning to give Nebraska a 2-1 win over Penn State in the Big Ten Championship Game. • Totaled 10 multi-hit games, including two four-hit performances. • Drove in two-plus runs seven times, including a season-high six RBI. • Went 4-for-5 with a double, home run and six RBI against Ohio State in the Big Ten Tournament. • Had a 4-for-5 performance with a home run and two RBI in win vs. Indiana in semifinals of Big Ten Tournament.

Named to the Second-Team All-Big Ten Team. • Hit .291 with 11 doubles and 18 home runs. • Totaled 57 RBI and 45 runs scored. • Compiled a .410 on-base percentage and a .654 slugging percentage. • Totaled 12 multi-hit games and 16 multi-RBI performances. • Garnered four three-hit games and one game with four hits. • Drove in three runs five times while posting four RBI and five-plus RBI in two games each. • Homered twice against Illinois and Northwestern. • Posted an eight-game hitting streak and an on-base streak of 18 games. • Drove in five runs vs. Penn State and tallied four RBI against Hawaii and Minnesota. • Went 4-for-5 with two doubles, two homers, six RBI and three runs in win against Northwestern.
2022
Gabe Swansen played in 20 games, including nine starts at designated hitter and left field in first season at Nebraska. • Hit .154 with a double and home run. • Totaled six hits, six RBI and six runs. • Tallied one multi-hit game and one multi-RBI game. • Went 2-for-6 with a home run, three RBI and two runs in win at Indiana. • Also scored two runs against Iowa. • Recorded lone double at Minnesota.
Johnston High School
Swansen played baseball at Johnston High School under head coach Michael Barta. • Helped team win state championship in 2020, while placing runner-up in 2021 and 2019. • Garnered first-team all-state honors in 2021 and 2020. • Named second-team all-state in 2019. • As a senior, hit .400 with 19 doubles, a triple, eight home runs and 44 RBI. • Tallied nine doubles, three triples, four homers and 34 RBI while hitting .434 as a junior. • Hit .336 with nine doubles, a triple, four home runs and 29 RBI in sophomore campaign.
