Before Nebraska: Daniel Young joins Nebraska after two seasons at Tyler Junior College. • Totaled 14 doubles, a triples, 14 home runs, 72 RBI and 55 runs in 95 games. • Hit .279 in his freshman season with five doubles, a triple, two homers and 16 RBI. • Had a .272 batting average with a .414 on-base percentage and .516 slugging percentage in 2022. • Totaled nine doubles, 12 home runs and 56 RBI as a sophomore in 2022. • Prior to Tyler JC, he redshirted one season at Abilene Christian. • Helped Madisonville High School to back-to-back district titles and a conference title as a utility player for the Mustangs.
