Before Nebraska: Lettered for two years at Olathe East High School. • Was a Class 6A Sunflower League Honorable Mention selection as a junior. • Posted a 1.96 ERA and 47 strikeouts in 42.2 innings of work in his junior campaign. • Also lettered four years in football, earning all-state honorable mention recognition.
Personal: Born on September 17, 2003. • Parents are Kyle and Michele Berggren. • Has two sisters, Amanda and Cassidi. • Majoring in nutrition, exercise and health sciences.
