2016: A second-team All-Big Ten pick, Ryan Boldt was also on the Golden Spikes preseason and midseason watch lists in 2016 • Was one of two players to start all 59 of NU's game in 2016 • Hit .288 (74-for-257) with 48 runs, 14 doubles, two triples, five home runs and 30 RBIs • Tied for sixth in the Big Ten in runs scored and tied teammate Jake Meyers for 10th in hits • Stole a career-high 20 bases, the most by a Husker since 2005 when Alex Gordon stole 23 bases • Hit .311 during Big Ten play with eight doubles, one home run and 12 RBIs in 24 games • Was second on the team with 22 multi-hit games, including a team-best 13 three-hit games • Tied for third on the team with seven multi-RBI games • Finished his career with tied for 19th in school history with 223 career hits, becoming the 24th player in school history to top 200 career hits and only the 15th to do it in three seasons • Earned third-team CoSIDA Academic All-American honors for the second straight year • First NU baseball player to earn consecutive honors since Jeff Leise was a first-team pick in 2002 and 2003.

2015: Boldt continued to excel for the Huskers as a sophomore, performing both on and off the field • Played in 55 of NU’s 57 games • Not only led the Huskers in average (.344), hits (75), runs (45) and stolen bases (9), but was also named a third-team CoSIDA Academic All-American • Hit leadoff in 37 games and displayed a great eye at the plate with 27 walks-to-27 strikeouts, while leading the team with a .429 on-base percentage • During Big Ten play, ranked ninth in the league with a .374 average and tied for eighth in hits with 34, while his on-base percentage of .467 ranked fourth • Had at least a hit in nine straight games to start the season, including six straight multi-hit performances • Ended the 2014 season on a four-game hitting streak that extended into 2015 as a career-long 13-game hitting streak • Had a team-high 24 multi-hit games on the year, including nine games with three hits • Produced an 11-game hitting streak late in the season that raised his average from .325 to .356 • Played in the Cape Cod League during the summer and was selected to the league’s all-star game.

2014: Boldt made an immediate impact for the Huskers in 2014, as he was named a Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American by Collegiate Baseball • Hit .311 on the year with 74 hits, while leading the team in runs (47) and triples (6) • His six triples were the most by a Husker since Jeff Leise hit seven in 2003 • Produced 20 multi-hit games on the year, including a team-high four, four-hit games • Hit leadoff for the Huskers the final 28 games of the year and NU was 22-7 on the year with Boldt in the leadoff spot after he also hit leadoff in the season opener • Was named to the NCAA Stillwater Regional All-Tournament Team after going 6-for-10 with one double, two triples and five runs scored in three games • Was 2-for-4 with a triple and a run scored in his NCAA Tournament debut against Cal State Fullerton on May 30 in Stillwater, Okla. • Snapped an 0-for-11 slump against Northwestern with his first career home run on April 19 • Was a two-out, two-run shot that put the Huskers within two runs, NU won the game 10-9 • Was 6-for-10 with three doubles in a doubleheader sweep of No. 25 UC Irvine on March 15, including 4-for-5 with four RBIs in game one • Delivered a two-out, three-RBI triple against Pacific in the season opener on Feb. 14 at the Husker Classic in Tempe, Ariz. • Was his first career hit and tied the game, 3-3 • Nebraska went on to win the game, 5-3.

Before Nebraska: Boldt was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 22nd round of the 2013 MLB Draft out of Red Wing High School in Red Wing, Minn., but decided to join the Nebraska baseball program instead • Ranked as the No. 15 overall recruit and the No. 3 outfielder in the nation by Perfect Game • Was unable to play a majority of his senior season due to a leg injury • As a junior in 2012, led Red Wing to a 22-2 record and its first state tournament appearance since 1977 • Was named the MVP of the 2012 Perfect Game All-American Classic at PETCO Park in San Diego, Calif., after going 2-for-3 with a triple to lead the West squad to a 7-6 win • Earned a spot on Team USA’s Under-18 squad in August 2012 and was coached by former Major Leaguer and three-time World Series champion Scott Brosius • Was the first Minnesota product to earn a spot on the team since current Minnesota Twin Joe Mauer was selected in 2000 • Competed with Team USA at the XXV IBAF Under-18 Baseball World Championships in Seoul, Korea, helping Team USA win its first world championship at the under-18 level since 1999 with a 6-2 win over Canada in the championship game • Led all players at the 12-team event with a tournament-record 12 stolen bases and added a tournament-high 11 runs • Was the only player in the tournament to hit double figures in either category • Also set a single-game tournament record with five stolen bases in an 11-1 win over Colombia.

Personal: Born on Nov. 22, 1994 • Parents are Mitch and Chris Boldt • Has two sisters, Kathryn and Lauren, and one brother, Steven • Is the cousin of former Husker infielder Pat Kelly, who was drafted in 2014 by the Minnesota Twins • Majoring in nutrition science.
