2022: Cervantes appeared in 40 games, including 37 starts for the Huskers. • Hit .187 with four doubles and a home run. • Totaled 20 hits, 10 RBI and 12 runs. • Recorded two multi-hit games and a pair of multi-RBI games. • Delivered the walk-off RBI single in win against New Mexico State. • Had two-hit games against Ohio State and Michigan State. • Tallied two runs against Omaha and Minnesota. • Drove in two runs vs. UT Arlington and Iowa.

2021: Cervantes played in 36 games, making 14 starts in first season at Nebraska. • Had four hits and drove in four runs. • Scored seven runs. • Hit a two-RBI single in an extra-inning win at Michigan State. • Recorded an RBI single against Purdue. • Tallied a hit in the win against NJIT in the Fayetteville Regional.

Before Nebraska: Efry Cervantes (pronounced Ee-fry Sir-van-tess) joins the Huskers from South Mountain Community College, where he played under Coach Todd Eastin • Playing in the ACCAC Wood Bat League, he batted .305 with one home run, 19 RBIs, 22 runs scored, seven doubles and seven stolen bases in 25 games in 2020 • As a freshman in 2019, Cervantes hit .300 with three home runs, 31 RBIs, 51 runs scored, 13 doubles and nine stolen bases on his way to ACCAC All-Region and all-conference accolades • During the fall, he was one of the top performers in the Arizona Fall JUCO All-Star game • During his high school career at Salpointe Catholic playing under Coach Danny Preble, he batted .388 with six home runs and 73 RBIs on his way to first-team all-state honors in 2017 and 2018 • Was also an honor roll student.
 
Personal: Born on Nov. 7, 1999 • Parents are Efrain and Eliset • Has two brothers, Chris and Anselmo, and one sister, Samantha • Management major who earned his bachelor's degree from Nebraska in May 2023.
