Before Nebraska
Began his collegiate career as a redshirt wide receiver on the football team at Nebraska in 2017-18...switched to track and field in 2018-19...attended Broken Bow High School in Nebraska...was the Nebraska C1 long jump state champion as a senior with a mark of 22-7 1/2 (6.89m)...also finished fourth in the 100m (11.0) and the 200m (22.4)...set a long jump PR of 23-8 1/2 (7.22m) to win his district meet...was a three-year state qualifier...earned honorable-mention all-state honors in Class C1 after averaging 47.9 yards per reception and setting a Nebraska Class C1 record with a 98-yard kick return for a touchdown.
