1984 (Senior)
Webber finished his senior season strong with 41 tackles, 23 unassisted. Weber's best game was against UCLA when he received CBS co-player-of-the-game honors. Weber was in on nine tackles, six unassisted including one sack. He broke up two passes and blocked a punt against the Bruins. Another highlight of Weber's season was the game against Oklahoma on November 17. Weber chipped in six tackles including three for losses of nine yards.
1983 (Junior)
As a junior, Weber made 34 tackles with 24 unassisted. Four of those tackles for losses of 25 yards and another for a 14-yard quarterback sack. Weber saved his best game for the Huskers' crucial 28-21 victory vs. the University of Oklahoma when he recorded a season high six tackles, all of them unassisted and three of them for losses. His last tackle vs. the Sooners threw OU quarterback Danny Bradley for a three yard loss on the second-and-six at the Nebraska seven with 42 seconds left. Other top tackle games for Weber were against Oklahoma State and Coloardo.
1982 (Sophomore)
Weber finished the season totaling 40 tackles with 26 unassited. He made four tackles for losses of seven yards, and two sacks for 20 yards in losses. Weber also had one fumble recover and interception vs. Oklahoma State. He led the defensive linemen with four pass breakups, three against Missouri in a 23-19 victory. Weber's top tackle game was against Kansas State finishing with six tackles.
1981 (Second-Year Freshman)
As a second-year freshman Weber backed up All-American Jimmy Williams and was in on 14 tackles. Of the 14 tackles, eight were unassisted. He also had one tackle for a loss of three yards and an interception.
1980 (Freshman)
As a promising recruit, Weber started as a left end on the freshman team. He injured his knee mid-season and was granted an extra year of eligibility on a hardship ruling.
Before Nebraska (Lincoln Southeast HS)
Weber was an All-American, all-state, and all-city defensive end and tight end for the Lincoln Southeast Knights. He was also all-city in baseball and basketball. Weber competed in 10 Class A Championship evens in his career and received Athlete of the Year honors from the Lincoln Journal-Star in his senior year.

Bill is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Weber. He was born on Jan. 11, 1962.
