On three straight weeks losing in the fourth quarter
“You show up tomorrow and you do everything you can to improve for the next game. I think you can’t let it weigh on you too long, you have to learn from it. It hurts, it's as simple as that, it hurts but you got to be a man about it, you got to show up tomorrow and you can’t quit.”

“I was watching the rush so you see V9 (Vincent Shavers Jr.) coming off the corner and he beat the guy right off the bat and I was like ‘holy crap, he’s going to smoke them and we're going to sack them’. He got it up and bang, bang it couldn’t tell it almost looked like V9 clipped his arm a little bit and the ball shot up and I was like ‘is this just in the air or is it a pass’ and it kind of felt like it slowed down, like slow motion and I saw him catch it and it was a bad angle from where I was at and just kind of like ‘oh crap’. But I think my mentality and everyone else’s mentality on the sideline you see it, boom we're running down the field getting set for the next play, you can’t dwell on plays, that’s not who we are. We’re a what's next program, we’ve been taught that for four years since I’ve been here. All I thought about was what package is going out there next, are we in base, are we in cheetah, what are we in, do I need to be ready to go? They paused the game and reviewed it and I really didn’t spend much time looking at it, I was just asking ‘is that a catch?’”
