Huskers Look to Bounce Back at Oregon

Nebraska heads on the road for its second straight matchup with a ranked opponent on Saturday, when the Huskers take on Oregon in Eugene. Game time from Autzen Stadium is set for 10 p.m. CT (8 p.m. local), with the contest televised by FOX. The game can also be heard on the Huskers Radio Network and its affiliates, Huskers.com and the official Huskers App.

The matchup is the first between Nebraska and Oregon as Big Ten opponents and just the third all-time meeting between the schools in Eugene. The teams most recently squared off in a home-and-home series in 2016 and 2017.

Nebraska comes into the game with a 5-1 record and a 2-1 mark in Big Ten play, following a 20-17 loss against No. 7 Indiana on Saturday in Lincoln. Nebraska controlled much of the game against the defending national champions, before the Hoosiers scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns to pull out the victory.

Nebraska was strong at the line of scrimmage against the Hoosiers, out-rushing Indiana 128-65 in the game after IU entered the contest averaging better than 250 rushing yards per game. The Huskers also showed a potent offense, gaining nearly 400 yards against one of the nation's top-ranked defenses.

Oregon comes into the game with a 3-2 overall record and a 1-1 mark in the Big Ten.  The Ducks lost 17-15 to UCLA in Eugene on Saturday, as the Bruins forced seven Oregon turnovers.  Oregon is unraked in the AP poll, and No. 25 in this week's coaches poll. Oregon has been ranked as high as second in both polls this season and features a high-powered offense that ranks in the top 25 nationally in total offense and the top 15 nationally in scoring offense.
