Huskers Announce Fall Ball Schedule

The Nebraska softball team released its 2026 fall schedule on Friday. 

NU will open the fall with a doubleheader against Kansas on Saturday, Sept. 26. The games are set for 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. (CT) at Bowlin Stadium. The Huskers will then host the Omaha Mavericks for games at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. (CT) on Sunday, Oct. 4. 

The Big Red will head to Kansas City for a game against the Kansas City Diamonds of the Professional Softball League on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 1 p.m. (CT). NU will follow that with a game against Kansas at 4 p.m. (CT) the same day. 

Nebraska will close the season with a pair of contests at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. (CT) against South Dakota State at Bowlin Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 17. 

The Huskers return 10 athletes from last year’s Women’s College World Series team and welcome three transfers and seven freshmen.
