Huskers Land Baylor Transfer Neda Rahimkhani

The Nebraska women’s tennis team adds to the 2026-27 roster as Baylor transfer Neda Rahimkhani has signed to join the team this fall. After appearing in 16 matches during her freshman season, Rahimkhani joins the Huskers after reaching the Round of 32 with the No. 34 Bears at the 2026 NCAA Championships.

"We are very excited to add Neda to the Husker family,” head Coach German Dalmagro said.  “From our first conversation, I really like Neda’s energy, love for the game and how excited she was to play for a team. She’s a hard worker, disciplined, passionate about her game, loves doubles, and will be a great teammate. We have a great group right now, and Neda will fit in right away. She’s easy to get along with, wants to compete and get better, and will represent Nebraska the right way. I’m looking forward to seeing Neda develop and to see how far her game can go."

Originally from Quebec, Canada, Rahimkhani held a career-high ITF Juniors ranking of No. 471, winning three titles (J100 Arequipa, J30 Ottawa, J100 Vancouver) and becoming a finalist six times (J100 Quebec City, J30 Ottawa, J100 Quebec City, J100 Arequipa, J60 San Jose, J100 Woodbridge) in Junior ITF doubles tournaments. She also made singles semifinal appearances in the 2023 J30 Niagara and 2025 J100 Woodbridge. Rahimkhani was also a finalist in two Canadian National Championships.

"I chose Nebraska because I really enjoyed getting to know Coach Dalmagro and learning about the culture being built within the program,” Rahimkhani said. “The focus on player development as well as team chemistry/bonding stood out to me, and I believe it will provide a great environment for me to continue growing both on and off the court. I’m also excited for the opportunity to compete in a new and strong conference and represent Nebraska.”
