Nebraska bowler Jillian Martin was honored Thursday, as she was chosen as the 2025-26 Conference USA Scholar-Athlete Award winner in bowling.
The award, voted on by the conference’s 12 Faculty Athletic Representatives, is presented to the top student-athlete in each conference-sponsored sport based on academic achievement (GPA), athletic achievement and service.
Martin has excelled in all areas during her tenure as a Husker, enjoying one of the most decorated careers in program history. She is one of only seven bowlers in program history to earn four All-America awards. A four-time first-team All-American, Martin was the 2025 NTCA Bowler of the Year while also competing for Team USA during her career. She also won three PWBA events, including the 2026 Go Bowling U.S. Women's Open earlier this month.
In the classroom, she is a three-time CSC Academic All-District honoree, she was a finalist for UNL Female Student-Athlete of the Year this spring and was an Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar Award winner in 2026. Martin graduated with a degree in biological sciences during UNL’s 2026 Spring Commencement. Martin was also a four-time Tom Osborne Citizenship team member for her work in the community at Nebraska.
