Nebraska wrestling’s Jagger Condomitti and softball’s Alina Felix were named Big Ten Postgraduate Scholarship recipients, the conference announced on Wednesday.
Condomitti posted a 5-0 overall record and a 1-0 dual record to aid NU to a third-place finish at the NCAA Championships in his senior season at Nebraska. He added a first-place finish at the Younes Hospitality open in 2025-26. The Northampton, Pa., native is a five-time member of the Academic All-Big Ten team and has been on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll eight times. Condomitti was a Heart & Soul award winner in 2026 and was part of the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society in 2025. He is a four-time member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.
Felix was one of three team captains for Nebraska softball in 2026 and helped lead the team to a Women’s College World Series appearance and school-record 52 wins. She appeared in 10 games and scored six runs and logged six hits and five RBI. Felix is a two-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and was on the Academic All-Big Ten team three times. She was a Nebraska Outstanding Scholar in 2026 and is an eight-time member of the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll. The Tucson, Ariz., native earned a 4.0 semester GPA in the spring of 2026 and has been on the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team all four years of her career.
Big Ten Conference Postgraduate Scholarships are awarded to 36 students competing in intercollegiate athletics every academic year. Each Big Ten Conference institution will annually present one male and one female with one-time postgraduate scholarships of $7,500 each. The applicants will be evaluated based primarily on their achievements in academics.
This year’s recipients, who represent 16 different sports, will continue their education in a variety of different disciplines. Each Big Ten institution developed its own on-campus selection process when awarding scholarships. Student-athletes must have maintained at least a 3.2 grade-point average (GPA), demonstrated leadership qualities, served as an excellent role model and intended to continue their academic work beyond their baccalaureate degree at a graduate degree program.
