Nebraska’s Carson Jasa and Ty Horn will participate in the 2026 MLB Draft Combine taking place from June 23-26 in Phoenix at Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks.
The pair are among 195 collegiate players and 335 overall prospects who will participate in the showcase. The top 300 draft-eligible players, as identified by MLB clubs, were invited to attend the 2026 Draft Combine along with up to 50 supplemental invites. Jasa checked in at No. 171 on MLB.com’s latest Top 200 Draft Prospects list.
In 2025, 256 of the 309 players who participated in the combine were selected in the MLB draft (82.8%), including 87 of the first 100 picks.
The two Huskers are part of 20 combine participants from the Big Ten, with the Big Red being one of four Big Ten programs with multiple combine invites.
MLB Network will have exclusive coverage live from Chase Field on Tuesday, June 23, beginning at 11 a.m. CT. MLB Network’s analysts, including Greg Amsinger, Mike Lowell, Dan O’Dowd, Lance Brozdowski, Jim Callis, Jared Carrabis, Harold Reynolds, Dan Plesac and Xavier Scruggs, will provide analysis and breakdowns as the players undergo their pro-style showcase workout. Interviews with players and Club personnel will be featured as part of the coverage, which will also be streamed live on MLB.TV, MLB.com and in the MLB App. In addition to MLB Network’s coverage on June 23, the draft combine workouts on June 24 will be streamed across MLB’s digital platforms.
The 2026 MLB Draft takes place from July 11-12 during All-Star Week in Philadelphia. The draft will feature 20 rounds across two days. The opening night of the draft, which will feature 135 picks in total, will include the first four rounds, compensatory rounds, competitive balance rounds and prospect promotion incentive rounds.
