Nebraska Football will get prime-time treatment during the opening month of the season, as a pair of September homes games will be played under the lights at Memorial Stadium. The two evening games were part of four Husker kickoff times announced on Wednesday by the Big Ten Conference and its television partners.
Nebraska will get the 2026 season started early in its opener with the Sept. 5 matchup against Ohio set for an 11 a.m. kickoff with television coverage on FS1. The Huskers will then play a pair of night games the following two weeks, beginning with a 6 p.m. matchup with Bowling Green on FS1 on Sept. 12. A week later, Nebraska closes out non-conference play on Sept. 19 against North Dakota, with the matchup set for 6:15 p.m. on BTN.
In addition to the non-conference games, Nebraska’s annual Black Friday matchup with Iowa has been selected for a CBS telecast, with kickoff at 11 a.m. CT in Iowa City. The Big Ten has also determined that Nebraska’s Homecoming contest against Maryland on Oct. 3 will begin no later than 4 p.m. CT.
Earlier this month, Nebraska’s matchup at Illinois was selected for a Friday, Nov. 6 telecast on FOX, with kickoff at 7 p.m. CT. Kickoff times and television designations for the remainder of Nebraska’s 2026 schedule will be announced six to 12 days in advance.
Season tickets for the 2026 Nebraska home schedule are on sale now at Huskers.com/tickets. The $420 price represents the best per-game value for Husker fans. Additionally, three and four-game mini plans will be available to Husker fans beginning on June 9, while the remaining single-game tickets will go on sale on June 30.
